Description
When I created this piece, I wasn’t just painting horses—I was painting emotion in motion. To me, these three horses represent different energies within us. The one in gold is strength and confidence, the darker one is depth and mystery, and the chestnut carries warmth and grounding.
I chose to place them in water because water symbolizes release. As they run through it, they’re not just moving forward—they’re breaking through resistance, letting go, and embracing freedom. The splashes are intentional; they capture that raw, unstoppable energy we all feel at certain moments in life.
I didn’t want this painting to feel still. I wanted it to feel alive—like you can almost hear the sound of hooves and water, like the moment is happening right in front of you.
For me, this artwork is about freedom, courage, and the beauty of moving forward without fear. And I hope when someone looks at it, they don’t just see horses—I hope they feel that energy within themselves.
